Update on Parkinson’s disease

I chose Parkinson’s as my focus for a leaflet because there is a lack of concise information available to radiographers on how they can tailor their patient care to people living with the disease. This came as a surprise because there is an increased likelihood of this patient group attending imaging departments due to the motor symptoms they may experience. I hope my leaflet will raise awareness of the motor and non-motor symptoms of the disease and will empower radiographers to improve patient experiences and provide appropriate personalised care for people living with Parkinson’s.
