This article will assess how The Allied Health Professions (AHP) Strategy for England: AHPs Deliver1 can be used to advance healthcare delivery to the population. I will discuss the prospects offered in the policy to develop the future workforce of radiographers, with the aim of improving the outcomes of healthcare services. These include promoting anti-racism, maximising the contribution of AHPs and increasing social justice. Moreover, this article aims to evaluate the challenges that may be encountered in attempting to achieve these goals.

This policy acknowledges the wide scope that AHPs have in their capacity to promote an equal healthcare system.
