Recent NHS workforce transformation changes, such as the ways of recruiting, retaining, deploying and developing staff, have been introduced to meet the growing and changing needs of local populations to ensure high-quality care for patients. NHS leaders have been increasingly concerned about staff reporting discrimination and harassment and have identified the need for strategies to deal with staff stress and absenteeism stemming from this, as well as ensuring equal opportunities for development.
Taking an inclusive focus on staff development ensures individual potential is unlocked and supports the advancement of collective teams.
