Treatments for cancer can be both physically and mentally challenging, with one in four cancer survivors in the UK facing poor health or disability after cancer treatment3. The prevalence of psychological distress, including anxiety and depression, is often found to be higher among people with cancer, which can adversely affect treatment adherence, recovery and quality of life4, 5.
