Ellen’s entry was a little out of the ordinary but the judges felt it reflected excellent work in researching and understanding a disease from the perspective of a radiographer and presenting the findings in a uniquely accessible way.
Ellen’s poster explains all aspects of imaging fibroadenoma of the breast and provides extensive background and clinical information about the disease. The poster is presented with remarkable clarity in easily understood sections. Given that the poster is designed to be presented in a large format and is, therefore, hard to reproduce in this magazine, here is a digest of some of the essential details she captured.
